Carpenter Position
About the Role
Frontier is looking for a skilled and motivated carpenter to join our team. This position will start on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role for the right applicant. We specialize in property maintenance, renovations, and small construction projects across Townsville, and we are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship for our clients.
What You'll Be Doing
Performing a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, decking, fencing, and maintenance
Assisting with minor renovations and concreting projects
Reading and interpreting building plans and specifications
Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Working independently and as part of a team to complete projects to a high standard
Ensuring all work complies with workplace health and safety regulations
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in carpentry or construction
Experience in concreting and fencing is desirable
Current driver’s licence
Own reliable transport and own basic tools of the trade
Construction White Card and relevant trade qualifications
Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
